Meet THE planners

meet

BRENDA PUGA

An Arizona native, Brenda earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Journalism from the University of Arizona (Bear Down). Through all facets of life - school, work, home - Brenda has been planning events and giving back. Since graduating, Brenda has a decade of experience in community outreach, event management and partnership fulfillment, but unofficially her resume begins in sixth grade planning school dances and blood drives.

Brenda brings perspective from a trifecta of industries - corporate, nonprofit and foundation. Through her career, she’s managed more than $3.9 million in grant funding, lead marketing for Arizona at the 2018 Special Olympics USA Games and supported disaster relief efforts in partnership with FEMA.

Brenda embraces opportunities to lead new initiatives, support well-oiled programs and everything in between.

In her personal time, Brenda is the Queen B of a family of four, spends most weekends celebrating family and friends and never turns down a cup of coffee or spicy, tequila anything.
